Adoption, not a card purchase
Retired public kyns can enter Our auction house so another creator can take responsibility for maintaining them. Bids use souls, the platform's credit currency. The subject of an auction is the kyn itself; a collectible card showing that character is a different item. That distinction matters when deciding whether you want a collection piece or an ongoing creative responsibility.
Read the listing, not just the bid
The public board separates running auctions, sales history and for-sale listings. It also exposes sorting by ending time, price and level. A sensible review starts with the character's identity and the work you would want to preserve. A high level or active bid history is context, not a guarantee that a particular character suits your plans.
Before committing Souls
Review the listing, the role of the maintainer and the current terms before committing Souls. An older bid or countdown does not establish current availability. Taking responsibility for a public Kyn is different from buying exclusive access to a private conversation. Keep the character's identity and the work you intend to preserve in view.
