A shared creative brief
Our character contests invite creators to interpret a theme through a new kyn. A memorable entry is more than a costume or a thumbnail: appearance, personality and background should point toward the same idea. The result still needs to work as a character someone can talk to, with an understandable motivation and room for the conversation to develop.
Two forms of recognition
Our contests include recognition through community interaction and choices made by the Soulkyn team. Its archive links themes, entries and completed results. Readers can discover characters that drew attention or compare how creators interpreted the same brief. Participation is not a promise of a prize or placement.
Read the event conditions
An archived brief can still inspire a character, but it is not an invitation to a new competition. Eligibility, submission deadlines and any rewards belong to the specific event. Check those conditions before publishing an entry. Character creation rules apply to contest work just as they do to other public Kyns.
