What a Kyn is
A Kyn has a written identity, an appearance and a way of speaking. The profile gives the model a starting point for its replies. A quiet researcher, a confident detective and an RPG narrator therefore begin with different roles, even when you ask them the same question.
Kyns are fictional AI characters, not people operating a chat account. A believable reply can still contain an invented detail. Keep that distinction in mind when a conversation moves from storytelling to a real-world decision.
Conversations and creative tools
Our character library includes realistic and anime-style profiles. Alongside text conversations, Soulkyn offers image creation, video, voice and music tools. Choosing a character and choosing access to a tool are separate decisions: a profile being visible does not mean every generator is included in a free account.
For a first session, choose one character and one situation. A short opening such as a late arrival at a mountain lodge gives the conversation a place, an immediate event and something for the character to respond to.

The profile describes a character; the thread contains your particular conversation with that character. Two threads can develop different stories from the same starting profile. Your account connects the threads, saved material and characters you manage.
That separation also matters when editing a Kyn. A revised character profile and an older conversation are not automatically the same version of the story. Decide whether to continue the existing setup or deliberately begin with the new one.
Product history and release information
Features, model choices and subscriptions change over time. A review of an earlier release may describe a different editor or allowance from the one shown in your account today.
The copyright year in a footer is not an exact launch date. For a release-specific question, keep the version name, date and feature involved together. Support can then distinguish an older interface from a current account problem.
