Starting the scene
Ground the opening in a concrete place and a decision the player can make. A large premise becomes easier to follow when daily routines, relationships and institutional rules appear through the conversation rather than through one long explanation.
Keep the group coherent
A shared scene needs a stable place, a clear speaker and consistent facts. Address one participant when you want a focused reply, and distinguish narration from dialogue. If the situation changes, state the change instead of expecting every character to infer it.
